The branch has a lively programme of events, and its not all work and no play:

Wings Appeal BBQ
During the summer, we used to hold a barbeque in aid of Wings Appeal. Open to members and their guests, a small admission fee paid for the food and drink, and proceeds  to Wings Appeal.

In 2002, `NAAFI Night` proved fun. In 2003, it was back by popular demand, with food and drink provided! For an evening you can give up that diet and take a trip back to a time when bangers, mash and beans were slopped on your plate by those girls in the NAAFI.

Edinburgh Tattoo & Falkirk Wheel, 2007

In August 2007, a group of branch members travelled by  luxury long-haul coach with Buzzlines to Glasgow  staying at Bruce Hotel East Kilbride for 3 nights half -board. This most enjoyable trip included  the Edinburgh Tattoo, and an interesting visit to the Falkirk Wheel.

Isle of Wight
Branch members involve themselves in a number of social activities, in some cases simply for the pleasure of it. Such was the case with a 6 day tour of the Isle of Wight in 2002. A stay in the Richmond Hotel, where we have been made very welcome, sets us up well for some interesting outings.

Sunday Lunches
With the loss of Robin Burton, his widow Margaret is determined that the event shouldl continue in his memory. Organised twice a year, it was a pleasant social gathering at the Grangemoor Hotel Maidstone.
At the 14th 'Branch Sunday Lunch', in February 2007. the opportunity was taken to present John Stannard with his Certificate of Appointment as our first Life Vice-President.

Since 2016 the event has been held at the Maidstone Masonic Centre, Tovil. The 33rd lunch was held on 6 October 2019.
